Uttlesford Ramblers Work Party
We meet every second Monday and undertake vegetation clearance, Waymark installation and general improvement work. We do not at present undertake bridge installation or kissing gates.
During this year we have removed vegetation blockages on over 50 paths, cleared vegetation from around 80 existing Waymark Posts, and cleared vegetation from over 20 bridges. We have installed over 80 new Waymark Posts and refixed another 30 existing ones. We have fitted new Waymark disk’s to so many posts we have lost count. We have also undertaken drainage work, fence support, gate adjustments, and general clearance of items restricting paths.
The Work Party has a team of between 6 to 10 members, who are committed to the work and gain satisfaction from its undertaking.
The relationship with the new ROW Inspectors is operating well.
