West Essex Ramblers Working Party, covering the 29 parishes of Epping Forest District.
We go out every Tuesday. If necessary we will have a special work day.We undertake the basic vegetation clearances of PRoWs, footbridges, waymarker and finger posts, stiles, etc. We also install/replace footbridges, install gates and steps. Repair work covers steps, stiles, gates and footbridges. We also paint the top of waymarker posts and install them, as well as (re)installing fallen posts, if they are in good condition.We have a enthusiastic group of nine, with an average turn out of seven. We run two teams. Five of the group are qualified to use the brushcutters.
