Good news received for one more section of the England Coast Path
I received a mysterious sounding email entitled SM – Defra – Coast a few days ago. Once I started watching the daily Downing Street news on work our government were undertaking just coping with so many unexpected changes I put an end to hope of hearing more on the Essex stretch of the England path for a while or we are out of lockdown. I found when reading further this email contained much to my delight details of the Secretary of State’s long awaited decision regarding the Coastal Access Report for the Southend -on-Sea to Wallasea Island stretch of the England Coast Path. It came with best wishes from the Access Team Rural and Place, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in London (Defra). The PDF referred to below is still at the time of writing to be found on the England Coast Path web site.
