ACCESSING ACCESS

Although Essex has probably got less open access land than virtually any other county as a result of CROW, it is still informative to see where it is.  The Natural England website dedicated to access will show our areas along with those of other counties.  You can also find out about restrictions which might apply at certain times of the year (grouse shooting etc).

Try it at http://www.countrysideaccess.gov.uk/

Remember – if your Group succeeds in having a path unblocked or a route reinstated please report it to http://www.ramblers.org.uk/rights_of_way/successes
